Introductions are difficult. How does one encapsulate the complexity of a lifetime in a few paragraphs? Explaining one's accomplishments, goals, and interests are usually best explained over a good cup of coffee or glass of wine. I only have Coke Zero in the refrigerator so I'll do my best.

I'm a communications professional living in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I'm Vice President of Corporate Commmunications for M&T Bank. Previously, I was the Director of Marketing and PR for the Harrisburg Symphony. I've also worked in government as a press secretary to a U.S. Congressman and for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. And before that I worked in marketing for a large commercial printer and at a high-end photography studio.

My varied positions have provided me with a wealth of experience and skillsets.

In terms of public relations, my specialties lie in media relations and strategic communications. I've worked closely with reporters from cable news networks like CNN and Fox News, and been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, LA Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, and the Washington Times.

I also have experience in website management and marketing. To cut through the clutter of media messages and the glut of advertising, one needs to be innovative, original, and understand what drives consumers.

Last, I've picked up a design trick or two over the years. I am highly proficient in creating print and electronic media. My primary design tools are InDesign, PhotoShop and Acrobat.
